Inextinguishable Brass Will Help Ring in Independence Day
A dynamic group of young professional musicians – Inextinguishable Brass – present the next concert in the 2014 Taylor Community Music Series, sponsored by Bank of New Hampshire. The event – which is free and open to the public – is scheduled for Sunday, June 29 at 3 p.m. in Taylor’s Woodside Building, 435 Union Ave. It is generously being sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Davis.
Inextinguishable Brass was founded at the University of New Hampshire by Trumpeter Adam Gallant in 2008. Besides Gallant, members include Greg Bechtold, trumpet; Brian Gardell, horn; Claude Fried, trombone; and Ben Stadelmann, tuba.
The first half of the program will include works by Mozart.The second half will be a patriotic tribute with music the audience is sure to recognize.
