Upcoming Events Let You “Ask the Experts”
March 6, 2017What’s the best way to learn about living in a retirement community? Most people would tell you it helps to talk to someone who lives there already. We would add it’s also important to talk to those who work in the community.
If you or a loved one have been considering a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), there are two upcoming events you won’t want to miss. Our “Ask the Experts” session is Thursday, March 16 at 11 a.m. in Taylor’s Woodside Building. With an overview of the services Taylor Community provides, attendees will hear from everyone from our President/CEO, to the Chef, to our Director of Facilities and the VP of Finance, among others.
“We’ve held this event in the past with great success,” said Paul Charlton, Taylor’s Marketing Director. “It’s such a good opportunity for people to ask questions of those who are directly in charge of various departments in our community.
“As is often the case, someone in the audience will ask a questions that triggers another person’s thoughts and everyone in the room benefits from the answers.”
While hearing from Taylor’s leadership is definitely worthwhile, perhaps even more educational is the scheduled “Ask the Resident Experts” event Wednesday, April 5 at 11 a.m. “Our residents are an integral part of every event we host,” said Charlton. “Who better to discuss day to day life at Taylor than those who choose to move here?”
Attendees will discover why these residents chose to move here; who was involved in their decisions; what surprised them about their experiences; and what advice they would give to others who are considering moving to a CCRC. There will be plenty of time for questions and candid answers.
Both events are free, open to the public and include lunch for all attendees. Reservations are required to ensure seating. Call 366-1400 today to reserve your place at one or both of these informative events.
