“Downsizing, it’s not that impossible, and what’s your home really worth?”
Laconia, NH, April 23, 2012 – Taylor Community is excited to bring a panel of leading experts in senior living, real estate and financial planning to the public through a free informational session called “Downsizing, it’s not that impossible, and what’s your home really worth?”
The 90-minute presentation will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 11:00am at Taylor’s Woodside building in Laconia and will feature Senior Living Specialist, Mariluz Flanders of Tailored Transitions; Broker, Chris Kelly and Senior Real Estate Specialist, Roger Turgeon of RE/MAX Bayside; and Bank Services Representative, Kathleen Kelley of Bank of New Hampshire. Registration is required by calling 524-5600.
“This is a great opportunity to bring together a group of experts and people who are interested in downsizing their homes but don’t know where to begin,” says Paul Charlton, Director of Marketing at Taylor Community. “This presentation will really enable participants to sit back and say, ‘Am I ready? If not today, then when? And what do I need to do to get ready?’”
Charlton also points out recent reports provided by the New Hampshire Association of Realtors show the housing market is improving. “NH home sales for the first quarter were up 17% over last year. This is great news for people who have been waiting to put their house on the market. The tide is turning, but the question still remains: How much is my home worth? The answer to this and to other questions will be addressed during our free presentation, and we hope people take advantage of the free advice being offered by attending.”
