Prior to joining Plymouth State University in 2000, Dr. Eric Hoffman worked for the National Weather Service as a meteorologist in the Monitoring and Aviation Branch of the former National Meteorological Center (currently the National Centers for Environmental Prediction), in Camp Springs, MD.

Join Doctor Hoffman as he recounts his exciting experiences as a Storm Chaser at Taylor Community’s Woodside Building, Monday, May 15 at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

The doctor received his BS in meteorology from Cornell University and his MS and Ph.D. in atmospheric science from the University at Albany (SUNY). His areas of expertise include synoptic and mesoscale meteorology.
