Why Family Stories Matter, Oct. 23

Learn how you can take steps to capture these stories before they’re lost, as Dan Darling, owner of Heartstring Media, presents a program entitled “Why Family Stories Matter.”
The free event is Monday, Oct. 23 at 6:30 p.m. in Taylor Community’s Woodside Building and is open to the public.
This presentation will help people discover easy methods, along with tools and resources, to begin this important process and learn about the different ways these stories can be shared with family and friends.
Mr. Darling has many years of experience telling stories professionally through theater and video production. Through his Memoir Mill personal history service, he assists individuals, families, organizations and communities in preserving their valuable histories, memories and life stories. He is also a Certified Legacy Planner and a lifetime member of the International Association of Story Keepers.
