August 17, 2015Pickett’s Charge was an infantry assault ordered by Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee against Maj. Gen. George G. Meade’s Union positions on Cemetery Ridge, July 3, 1863, the last day of the Battle of Gettysburg during the American Civil War.
History buffs will enjoy this informative lecture scheduled for Monday, Sept. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Taylor Community’s Woodside Building.
