Maine Author to Speak on Allegash River

Maine Author Tim Caverly has written and published seven books about Maine’s northern forest. In addition, several of his short stories have been printed in newspapers, magazines and outdoor journals.
Canoe 92 miles through the heart of the Maine woods as Caverly guides you down the wild Allegash in a presentation Monday, May 8 at 6:30 p.m. in Taylor Community’s Woodside Building. The event is free and open to the public.
The program includes music as well as scenic and historic photos from our northern forest. Listen as he recants forgotten logging history; Native American lore and tales of animals and characters he encountered while living in remote New England.
