Maine Author Tim Caverly at Back Bay

Maine Author Tim Caverly has written and published eight books about Maine’s northern forest. His second book, “An Allagash Haunting,” was adapted into a stage play. Additionally, seven of his short stories have been printed in newspapers, magazines and outdoor journals.

In his youth, Caverly accompanied his fire-warded father and ranger brother on patrol and was a Maine park ranger for 32 years himself. He has lived in the four corners of Maine and his stories are based on personal experience and knowledge of the state’s history and landscapes.
