Monument Men – The Crazy Horse Memorial
May 15, 2019The construction of Mount Rushmore was looked upon unfavorably by Native Americans who were promised the Black Hills in a treaty, only to be broken later by the United States. In order to honor the legacy of the Native Americans who lived in western South Dakota, an even larger monument of Crazy Horse is currently under construction.
This film is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29 at 2 p.m. in Taylor Community’s Woodside Theater. The event is free and open to the public, but reservations are required by calling Brenda at 366-1226.
