New Horizons Band Holiday Concert Dec. 20 at Taylor
December 5, 2016The New Horizons Band of the Lakes Region will perform a holiday concert Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. at Taylor Community’s Woodside Building. The event is free and open to the public.
Music will include the popular “Christmas Festival,” arranged by Leroy Anderson of Boston Pops fame, as well as his composition of the well-known “Sleigh Ride.” Also scheduled are “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,” “Dong Don Merrily on High,” “God Bless Us Everyone.” Many other arrangements – familiar to people of all ages – are in store for the audience.
The Mission of the New Horizons Band of the Lakes Region is to promote “music for life” by creating band performance opportunities for mature adult musicians who seek to make beautiful music together, for the enjoyment of members and audiences alike.
