Trio Veritas Scheduled for Oct. 2 Concert at Taylor
September 22, 2016Taylor Community’s 2016 Concert Series continues Sunday, Oct. 2 at 3 p.m. with a concert by Pianist Dan Perkins, who will be joined by Violinist Viktoria Tchertchian and Cellist Harel Gietheim.
The event – which will include a piano trio by Mendelssohn – is free and open to the public and will be held at Taylor Community’s Woodside Building. It is generously being sponsored by John Earley, Bev Martin, Harriett Morse, Carolyn Parker and Marge Steady.
Perkins is a professor of music and director of choral activities at Plymouth State University. He is also principal guest conductor and director of choral activities for the New Hampshire Music Festival.
Tchertchian, a Bulgarian-born violinist, has established a vibrant and diverse career as a solo, chamber and orchestral musician. She teaches at St. Paul’s School in Concord and Melrose Middle School in Melrose, Mass.
Gietheim was born in Israel and began cello studies at the age of 8. He is an active freelance musician as well as a faculty member at St. Paul’s School and Manchester Community Music School.
