Friday – Nov 1 – Dining out at the Lyons’ Den. You’re always welcomed back as a friend here and you’ll enjoy the delicious food and friendly service. Taylor Residents receive a 10 percent discount. Whether its seafood, beef, chicken, veal, or one of the many nightly specials that intrigues you, you won’t be disappointed. As you dine you’ll have a wonderful view of the Glendale Docks and Lake Winnipesaukee. The bus will begin picking up residents on the Laconia campus at 4 p.m. Early Sign-Up: You may sign up for this trip beginning Oct. 21. (Easy)
Friday – Nov 8 – Parker’s Maple Barn & Restaurant. Parker’s Maple Barn has been a family establishment since the late 1960’s. The Corn Crib Gift Shop features maple products along with many unique gifts and gift baskets. The Maple Barn Restaurant, set in an 1800’s dairy barn and silo, is well known for its hearty breakfast menu served all day. You may also choose from many other entrees such as Maple or BBQ Ribs, Roast Turkey, Roast Beef, Burgers, Sandwiches and Home-Made Chowders and Soups. The bus will begin picking up residents on the Laconia Campus at 9:15 a.m., and make a convenience stop at Concord Trailways at approximately 10:15. (Easy – a rather long ride)
Friday – Nov 15 – Stonewall Kitchen and Lindt Chocolate Outlet. You will have lunch first to avoid that noon rush and then have time to shop and sample (if you have room) all the delicious offerings. The Cafe offers a wonderful selection of sandwiches, soups and chowders as well as specialty salads. After shopping, it’s off to satisfy your sweet tooth at the Lindt Chocolate Outlet in Stratham. What a sweet way to end the day! The bus will begin picking up residents on the Laconia Campus at 8:45 a.m., and will make a stop in Alton Bay if requested. (Easy)
