Steven White, owner of Wild Bird Depot, Gilford, will present a program on how to prepare your backyard for feeding the birds this winter. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at Taylor Community’s Woodside Building and is free and open to the public.

Mr. White is a bi-weekly columnist for a state-wide newspaper, hosts a live, weekly call-in radio show and gives speaking engagements both locally and nation-wide.

Wild Bird Depot has donated more than $5,000 to the local bird rehabilitator, The Science Center of Holderness, for its efforts. The store has also provided support to Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Project Feeder Watch and has contributed to two local school systems products for Classroom Feeder Watch.
