At Taylor, we aim to make retirement living accessible to as many people as possible and value each individual plans for the future. For some, future plans means that you have the flexibility later on to move closer to family, take advantage of VA benefits, or have other accommodations that best fit the needs of you and your family. Our Lifestyle Contract may be the right fit for many reasons, which is why we value this option at Taylor.

Our Lifestyle Agreement provides residents with access to Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. This contract may provide residents access to transfer to assisted living if needed or wanted in the future, subject to availability. However, the Lifestyle Agreement does not provide access to nursing and the financial benefit of charitable care. But the trade-off is a financial one upfront, as the entrance fees for the Lifestyle agreements are considerably lower than the Continuing Care or LifeCare Agreement.

The bottom line: A Lifestyle Contract is a great option for people who want to enjoy life at Taylor, with the understanding that they may need to make a move to another community or facility in the future. Lifestyle is available to residents coming to Taylor at the Independent or Assisted Living levels. At the Independent level, it requires a one-time entrance fee, and monthly fees vary depending upon accommodation and level of care.
