Storytelling with James Brewer II, Oct. 18
October 6, 2017Taylor Community Resident James Brewer II began his storytelling career at the Pasquaney Inn on Newfound Lake in 1985. At that time, he was still a distinguished English teacher at Holderness School.
After he retired from teaching, Brewer became increasingly well known as a storyteller, performing at area schools and campgrounds, heading up the U.S. Forest Service’s “Woods in Winter” storytelling program as well as a group for Dartmouth’s Institute for Life-Long Education.
Brewer brings his skills to Taylor Community’s Woodside Building Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 6:30 p.m. for a presentation entitled, “Streaking Remembered: Summer Camp 1946, and Untold WWII Story and Bits and Pieces.” This free event is open to the public.
